CLG MEDIATION
CLG Mediation was launched on 30 June 2016 at Agape Village. The aim of the service is to support individuals who are in real financial difficulty and who wish to access professional mediation services to achieve sustainable and effective solutions to their conflicts.
What is Mediation?
Mediation is problem-solving that is facilitated by a neutral third party, i.e. the mediator.
Today it is used commonly in the Singapore courts and several other forum to resolve a vast spectrum of disputes from family matters and small value civil claims, to higher value and technically complex international commercial disputes. Mediation is efficient and offers the possibility of achieving fair, creative, and targeted solutions. Because of the non-adversarial nature of the process (there are no lawyers and judges, but trained mediators), disputants find mediation useful in transforming previously toxic situations and being empowered to resolve future conflicts effectively.
The Mediator Team and Types of Disputes Handled
The pioneer team of mediators at CLG Mediation are specially selected based on their professional experience and qualification. They come from all faiths, including Catholics and non-Catholics.
Trained and independently accredited by the Singapore Mediation Centre, the mediators are equipped to handle a vast spectrum of family, neighborhood, commercial, employment, defamation, and other types of civil disputes.
The only type of dispute that would not be handled are criminal matters or matters that involve allegations of illegal or criminal conduct.
